Attorney-at-Law Justinas Poderis has more than 15 years of professional experience, specializing in regulatory law, environmental law, public procurement, transport law, public-private partnership (PPP) law, and dispute resolution.

His professional experience in regulated sectors includes advising on compliance, legislative processes and regulatory frameworks, as well as licensing matters in the pharmaceutical, tobacco, and energy sectors.

In the energy sector, Justinas Poderis has advised clients on the implementation and oversight of strategic projects in Lithuania, including the decommissioning of the Ignalina Nuclear Power Plant, shale gas exploration, the development of a new nuclear power plant, the LNG terminal, public sector renovation projects, and the development and acquisition of wind and solar energy parks.

His experience also encompasses a broad range of advisory work in legislative drafting, regulatory development, and preparation of legal acts, including legal services related to the transposition of the RED II and RED III Directives, alignment of environmental regulations, and the drafting of related legislation. He has also advised on connection conditions for independent heat producers, improvement of biofuel procurement rules, and enhancement of the legal framework for energy efficiency.

Furthermore, the attorney has extensive experience advising clients on complex infrastructure projects implemented through public-private partnerships, including military campuses, street lighting, swimming pools, and prison infrastructure projects.
